How my journey began
Welcome to FlowithAero! I'm Aeronica, an Indian yoga teacher currently living in the United States and working in Corporate America. I'm thrilled to share my passion for yoga with you through my online yoga classes.
Born and raised in the culturally rich state of Rajasthan, India, I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by the teachings of yoga. At the tender age of 8, my mother introduced me to yoga, and although my practice had its ups and downs over the years, it always remained a significant part of my life.
As I entered puberty, I faced challenges with my body, experiencing a tendency to gain weight. While I had always been an active individual, engaging in activities such as kickboxing, gyming, and swimming, I felt the need for a lifestyle change rather than occasional fitness pursuits. Coincidentally, the pandemic hit, and it introduced me to the world of free yoga classes on YouTube. Taking it as a sign, I allowed my love for yoga to flourish within my heart.
The more I delved into the practice, the more I realized the stark difference between the yoga I knew from my Indian roots and the diluted version often found in the Western world. This realization sparked my desire to seek out an Indian yoga teacher, but it seemed like a distant dream for teacher training. However, after a year of contemplation, I decided to invest in my yoga journey and found a studio that preserved the essence of traditional Indian teachings.
Embracing the opportunity to know myself on a deeper level, I immersed myself in the learnings, determined to bridge the gap between the whitewashed yoga prevalent in the Western world and the authentic yoga I had grown up with. I firmly believe that investing in our health now can prevent medical bills in the future—a notion that struck me at a young age.
Additionally, my own personal desire to feel good and comfortable in my body served as a driving force for my fitness journey. Now, my mission is to spread the joy of yoga and the connection it brings to our bodies in this lifetime. My teaching style is unique, focusing on helping students observe their bodies and fostering self-awareness.
Having an educational background in engineering and an MBA degree, I am not only a 300-hour certified yoga teacher but also someone who understands the importance of a balanced lifestyle. I conduct weekday classes three times a week and weekend classes twice a week. My classes encompass a blend of Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, meditation for a calm mind, pranayama for body connection, mudra, bandha, and yoga nidra.
In order to make yoga accessible to all, I offer chair yoga instruction for seniors or individuals with weaker knees. My goal is to share my yoga journey with everyone and bridge the gap between the whitewashed yoga prevalent in the Western world and the authentic yoga that I grew up learning and experiencing.
Join me at FlowithAero as we embark on this transformative journey together. Let's reconnect with our bodies, nurture our minds, and embrace the original essence of yoga.
Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
