How my journey began

I’m Aeronica, an Indian yoga teacher based in the United States, and I’m truly excited to share my passion for yoga with you. My mission is to guide you toward healing, balance, and self-discovery through the profound wisdom of traditional yoga, while honoring its authentic roots. Whether you're new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, I’m here to support you on your unique journey.
My Yoga Journey
Yoga has been a part of my life since childhood. Growing up in the culturally rich state of Rajasthan, India, I was introduced to yoga by my mother at the age of 8. Although yoga became a part of my routine, it wasn’t until I faced personal health challenges—specifically PCOS (Poly cystic ovary syndrome )—that I truly began to understand yoga’s deeper transformative power. Struggling with the emotional and physical toll of the condition, I sought a more natural way to heal my body, free from the side effects of medications.
Through dedicated practice, including Yoga Nidra, mindful breathwork, and guided asanas, I reconnected with my body in ways I had never experienced before. It was during this time that I knew I had found something far greater than just physical exercise. Yoga became my path to holistic healing, guiding me back to balance both physically and emotionally.
This deep transformation inspired me to pursue yoga teacher training, which began with my 200-hour YTT. I later completed my 300-hour YTT at Samyak Yoga, Mysore, where I immersed myself further in the traditional practices I had grown up with. Over time, I accumulated more than 1,000 teaching hours, earning my 500-hour YTT certification. These experiences have shaped me into the teacher I am today—one who blends the ancient wisdom of yoga with a modern, practical approach.
My Teaching Style
Yoga is not just a physical practice; it’s a holistic system for healing and self-discovery. In my classes, I strive to guide you through more than just asanas. I believe that yoga is about connecting mind, body, and spirit in a way that fosters overall well-being. My teaching style integrates traditional practices with modern sensibilities, creating a supportive and nurturing environment where students feel seen and empowered at every stage of their journey.
I draw from a wide range of practices, including:
Holistic Techniques: Beyond physical postures, I incorporate mudras, bandhas, pranayama, kriyas, and shatkarmas to deepen your connection to your body and mind.
Breathwork and Mindfulness: The breath is our anchor, and I help my students cultivate awareness by guiding them through breath-focused techniques that support both physical strength and mental clarity.
Cultural Integrity: Mantras are an integral part of my classes. I share their meanings, helping to connect students to yoga’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.
Above all, I believe that yoga should meet you where you are—whether you're looking to build strength, find relaxation, or deepen your understanding of yourself. My classes offer a balance of challenge and relaxation, supporting you in your growth while respecting your unique needs.
Understanding Your Journey
Having personally navigated the challenges of PCOS and other health struggles, I deeply empathize with the frustration of feeling disconnected from your own body. It was yoga that provided me the tools to reconnect, heal, and regain vitality. I want to offer the same transformative experience to my students, helping you tap into your body’s innate wisdom and healing power.

Over the years, I’ve been privileged to witness the profound transformations that yoga can bring. One of the most inspiring stories comes from two of my students in their 60s, who’ve practiced with me consistently for over three years. They’ve not only improved their physical agility, but they’ve also reversed visible signs of aging and increased their overall vitality.
These stories of transformation are a testament to the healing potential of yoga. It’s not just about improving flexibility or strength—it’s about regaining balance, building inner resilience, and finding deep peace.

A Personal Note
I believe that laughter, authenticity, and curiosity are essential in creating a meaningful yoga practice. In my classes, you’ll often hear stories, feel encouraged to embrace your quirks, and be invited to find joy in the process of growth. One of my favorite guiding mantras is “Udharedatmanatmanam” from the Bhagavad Gita, which reminds us that the power to transform lies within us all. It’s a truth I’ve experienced firsthand, and it’s my deepest desire to help you discover that same power within yourself through yoga.
